Ross is a Danish – Canadian Philanthropist, economist and author. Ross has written articles and books on a variety of topics, including his personal transformation from businessman to environmental activist. Ross founded the Gaia Trust in 1987 an organisation established to develop and progress towards a transition to a more sustainable and spiritual society. Inspired by the Occupy Wall street movement that was born from the dramatic events in Zucotti park, New York on September 17, 2011, Ross Jackson wrote the book “Occupy World Street” with the aim of framing the protests in a global context and providing practical solutions for a world that works for everyone.
